Elegant Tern
Sterna elegans

First reported on 28 January 2007 at Mile 4 Salt Works in Swakopmund. The represented the second record of this species for Southern Africa. It subsequently moved off and was relocated on 11 February at Wlotzkas Baken, about 30 km north of Swakopmund.
