King Penguin
Aptenodytes patagonicus

First reported on 22 January 2007 where it came ashore near St. Francis Bay. It was subsequently taken to a rehabilitation centre. This probably represents the 4th record of this species for Southern Africa.

Photographed by Gregg Darling.
